Cruise Berthing Facility
The Cayman Islands’ Government is considering the prospect of constructing a two pier cruise berthing facility in George Town. The Government commissioned Mott Macdonald to prepare Terms of Reference for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the proposed project, with the EIA being carried out by a consortium of consultants led by Baird & Associates and Smith Warner International. The EIA was completed in 2015 and the Final Environmental Statement published in September 2015. The Terms of Reference and Final ES can be found below.
